Most phone trouble starts small: a hairline crack, a battery that’s flat by lunchtime, a cable you have to hold at just the right angle. Here are the faults we see most often on iPhone, Samsung and other phones. Not sure which one you’ve got? Cracked glass, lines across the display or a touchscreen that’s stopped listening? We replace the screen, testing the phone before and after. Most screen repairs are done the same day, depending on the part, and come with a 3-month warranty against part failure.
If your phone has been dropped in water, switch it off and bring it in as soon as you can. We’ll open it up, clean off any corrosion and see what can be saved. We can’t promise a fix, so take a look at our terms and conditions before you book.
Dropped calls, “No Service” or “SIM not detected”? Restart the phone and refit the SIM first. If that doesn’t help, we’ll check the SIM tray and antenna connections. If it turns out to be your network rather than the phone, we’ll tell you so.
A power or volume button that’s stuck, or won’t respond, makes a phone hard to use. We clean or replace the button so it works properly again. If the phone has had a soaking, we’ll check for water damage as well.

Most screen replacements and battery replacements are done the same day, depending on the part being in stock. If a laptop or tablet is playing up too, we repair laptops and tablets as well.

It depends on your phone's make and model and on the fault, so we'll look at it and agree a price with you before any work starts. Diagnostics are chargeable. Screens and batteries are our most common jobs. See our cracked screen repair page for more.
Most screen and battery repairs are done the same day, provided we have the part in stock. Any time we give you is an estimate rather than a promise. More involved board-level repairs take at least five working days. Have a look at battery replacement for a typical example.
We ask for your passcode so we can test the phone before and after the repair. If you'd rather keep it private, we can still go ahead, but a full check has to wait until you're back in store. Repairs don't usually affect your data, but we can't guarantee it, so please back up first. See our terms and conditions.
If the phone is otherwise working well and the repair costs a fraction of a new one, repairing usually makes sense. If it's old and the repair is expensive, we'll say so. Bring it in and we'll tell you plainly what we think before any repair work begins, or book a repair online.
